Salaam Noni Appa is based on the short story from Twinkle Khanna's bestseller titled ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad’ which has won her the India Today Woman Writer of the year 2017.The play was directed by the multi talented and theatre diva Ms. Lillette Dubey, who is also performing in the lead role.The stage screenplay was headed by Adhir Bhatt in collaboration with Lillette Dubey and Twinkle Khanna Salaam, Noni Appa is the tale of two sisters trying to peace together their lives between loneliness and unexpected friendship laced with laughter, comedy and fun as their lives go along.
